Fall Town Meeting concludes

Amherst's Fall 2009 Special Town Meeting began on Monday, November 2, and concluded after two sessions on Wednesday, November 4.  The meeting generated a single tally vote, on Article 9, which proposed the creation of four new Use Categories in the Zoning Bylaw to regulate various types of medical offices.  The article passed narrowly, by a vote of 105 YES, 51 NO (changes to the zoning bylaw require a 2/3 majority).

The database at tallyvotes.org has been updated with the tally vote results, along with attendance records for both sessions of the Fall Town Meeting.  Click the link below to see the results from the tally vote, or use the "Go to the database" button at the top of the page to access the full database search screen.
